TOPIC: Windows 10

Yes Oldie i am admin on this machine. I right click all the way from desktop for admin rights as i navigate my way to the ini file, but there isnt any admin options to click on in the drop down menus.
Iv tryed all the changes razorB kindly posted for us all, but they dont save.

2 ideas:

1. Create a knew directory in c:\, for example c:\UT2004 (don't create the directory in c:\windows\, c:\Program Files\ or c:\Program Files (x86)\). Copy (really copy, dont' select move) the whole UT-directory (usually you can find it under c:\Program Files (x86)\Unreal Tournament 2004\) into this new directory.
Know try to write the ini-files in this new directory. If it works, just put a link from the c:\UT2004\system\UT2004.exe to your desktop (or where ever) and start the game with the new link (or by doubleclicking the UT2004.exe in the new directory).
Don't (!!!) delete the old UT-directory in the c:\Program Files (x86)\ directory.

2. If 1. don't work u can download and install the App Teamviewer. This software allows others to get control over ur PC temporarily. We both can make a date then and i will try to fix it from my place.

Well I dun all that oldie n it saved. But wen I tryed start the game from that new folder it told me I need a CD key n to uninstall the game n reinstall it, so I did as asked n used the correct CD key to install the game n once it installed I made a new copy to c drive as u stated n re typed the changes in the INI file as razorB explained saved em n tryed start the game again, but the the same happened n its askin' fer the bleedin' CD key again n to reinstall the game!!? So I'm at a loss? Am I ta buy a new UT2004 n piss this one off or is there a fix?

PS I did delete the copy in c before I renstalled ut2004 propper
