TOPIC: UT2004 on Windows 10

Hmm avin a problem here gettin, ut 2004 ta work on windows 10 its really gettin, up rommels nose!!
Would sumone be so kind n point rommel to a fix in laymans terms because rommel is absolutely useless with computers as most ov ya know^^

Two Hints i found in the Internet:


1.)
Open your UT2004.ini located in your UT2004/System folder and find (ctrl + f to open searchbox)
[D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice]
ReduceMouseLag=True

Change ReduceMouseLag to false

2.)
Open your UT2004 and search for
[Engine.Engine]
RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice
;RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice
;RenderDevice=Engine.NullRenderDevice
;RenderDevice=OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice

Put a ";" in front of RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice

Remove the ";" to set the command for opengl rendering
RenderDevice=OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice

Can you please try these two things?

Cant seem ta get it ta save changes, must be doin summin rong i recon

Did you try to close UT during these changes?
